Collection: 2003-2004 RAM 5.9L CUMMINS

The start of a new era for the Cummins Turbo Diesel began in 2003 with the introduction of the Common Rail era. Dodge swapped the problematic VP44 with the more dependable Bosch CP3 injection pump, which is capable of providing fuel at pressures of up to 30,000 PSI to the rail. Common rail fuel systems incorporate electronically controlled injectors, which revolutionize power, efficiency, and performance tuning. Many Cummins enthusiasts think that this new system makes it easier to achieve significant horsepower increases without compromising fuel economy. By installing the appropriate tuner (we recommend Smarty), a quality set of injectors, an upgraded turbo, some transmission adjustments, a better fuel pump, and some gauges to monitor the truck's performance, these vehicles can readily reach 500 RWHP.
